Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced that Pakistan is fully prepared to host the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government meeting, emphasizing its importance in enhancing the country’s global standing and promoting regional cooperation.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar conveyed in a video statement that the event is a significant honor for Pakistan and all necessary preparations have been finalized. He highlighted the high alert status of law enforcement agencies to secure the summit and prevent any disruptions.
The minister expressed enthusiasm for the arrival of distinguished heads of government and other dignitaries, noting that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has personally supervised the preparations to ensure a warm and hospitable welcome. He added that the Federal Capital has been specially decorated to leave a lasting positive impression on the guests.
