Lahore: Pakistan will persist in its economic development efforts, announced Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, the Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony. In a recent address to the 6th Global Conference on “Islamic Economics Finance and Banking,” Yousuf highlighted the importance of advancing the country’s economic agenda.
According to Radio Pakistan, Yousuf emphasized the role of the Islamic economic system in providing an alternative model that promotes equitable wealth distribution and mitigates the exploitation of the impoverished. He underscored Pakistan’s responsibility, as a significant Muslim nation, to reinforce and broaden the scope of Islamic financial institutions.
