Pakistan to Establish New Digital Communication Center in Islamabad

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar announced the establishment of a new Center for Digital Communication, set to be located at the Pak-China Centre in Islamabad. This initiative was revealed during his address at today’s meeting of the National Assembly Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Tarar expressed the government’s commitment to enhancing support for the media industry, particularly in terms of facilitating the newspaper sector. He clarified that the distribution of advertisements to television channels has not been halted and is being managed based on channel ratings, ensuring fairness and transparency in the allocation of government advertisements.

Furthermore, the Minister highlighted the role of the Internal Publicity Wing, emphasizing its efforts not only with foreign publications but also in promoting Pakistan’s positive image internationally.
