Pakistan to Counter Terrorism with Full Force, Affirms Caretaker Information Minister Solangi

Karachi, Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, declared Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to combating the latest surge in terrorism, emphasizing the united front presented by the nation’s state institutions. The statement was made in remembrance of the victims on the 9th anniversary of the Army Public School (APS) tragedy.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi asserted that both civil and military leadership in Pakistan are in complete agreement and readiness to defend the homeland and its national security. He reflected on the progress made in the fight against terrorism and reiterated the country’s steadfast determination to continue this battle.

The minister recalled the unity and determination that emerged among political parties and organizations following the APS incident, leading to the formulation of the national action plan against terrorism. He acknowledged the persistent sorrow and impact of the APS tragedy, where young students were targeted, emphasizing that the memory and grief of the victims remain poignant even after nine years.

Solangi paid tribute to the martyrs of the APS attack and to those from the security forces who have laid down their lives in pursuit of peace in Pakistan. He offered prayers for the elevated ranks of the martyrs and solace for their families.
