Islamabad, In a significant political shift, key members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) from Tehsil Gujar Khan, including Deputy General Secretary Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem and Union Council Kontralla General Secretary Nadeem Bhatti, have joined the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). The announcement was made during a meeting with Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf in Islamabad.
According to National Assembly of Pakistan, the PTI convoy led by Chaudhry Muhammad Saleem and Nadeem Bhatti met with Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf and expressed their full confidence in him while announcing their shift to the PPP. The group, including prominent local figures such as Subidar Shawakt, Numdar Aziz, Farooq Bhatti, Raja Haris Bhatti, Master Arif, Chaudhry Fazil, Atiqur Rehman Janjua, Raja Zahid, Abdullah Saleem, Balam Saleem, Chaudhry Fida Bhatti, and Pir Mukhtar Shah, along with their community and team, formally left PTI for PPP.
Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf welcomed the new members to the PPP, emphasizing the party’s commitment to the welfare of the people and its focus on public welfare projects. He highlighted the significant developments implemented in Gujar Khan and assured continued efforts towards the area’s development and prosperity.
