Pakistan Targets G-20 Membership by 2030, Leverages Youth Potential

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has articulated the government’s ambitious goal to secure Pakistan’s inclusion in the G-20 by 2030, emphasizing the pivotal role of the nation’s youth in this endeavor.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Tarar, speaking at the National Youth Convention in Islamabad, highlighted the youth’s crucial contribution to the country’s future prospects. He noted that young people, who constitute sixty percent of Pakistan’s population, are essential to achieving the G-20 membership goal and ensuring sustainable national progress.

The Minister also referenced historical contributions of the youth in the Pakistan Movement, expressing confidence in their ability to shape the country’s destiny once again. He underscored the current government’s commitment to youth empowerment through various initiatives designed to harness their potential, particularly in the fields of information technology and startups. Tarar pointed out the significant growth in IT exports and the burgeoning startup ecosystem as indicators of the youth’s dynamic impact on the economy.
