Pakistan Supreme Court Resolves 204 Cases in One Week to Reduce Backlog

Islamabad, The Supreme Court of Pakistan has made significant progress in its case proceedings by resolving 204 cases, not including CMAs (Civil Miscellaneous Applications), from November 13 to November 17, 2023. During the same period, the court also witnessed the filing of 252 new cases, extending up to November 18, 2023.

According to Supreme Court of Pakistan, the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Hon’ble Judges have shown a committed effort to expedite the disposal of cases and address the backlog. This initiative is part of an ongoing effort to minimize delays in the judiciary and provide timely relief to litigants. The judges have been actively hearing cases with the objective of reducing the backlog and ensuring efficient justice delivery.
