Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan summoned the Indian Chargé d’Affaires today to express a strong protest against what it described as unprovoked Indian strikes at multiple locations within Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The ministry reported that these strikes resulted in civilian casualties, including women and children.
Pakistan’s foreign office conveyed its position that the Indian military actions represent a clear violation of the country’s sovereignty. The ministry emphasized that such actions contravene the United Nations Charter, international law, and established norms governing inter-state relations.
During the meeting, Pakistan firmly rejected India’s reasoning for the strikes, labeling them as baseless justifications for aggressive conduct. The foreign office further cautioned the Indian side that such actions pose a significant threat to regional peace and stability.
The move underscores ongoing tensions between the neighboring countries, highlighting the delicate balance of peace in the region.
