Pakistan summons Indian diplomat to convey concerns over open genocide calls

Islamabad, December 27, 2021 (PPI-OT):Pakistan has strongly condemned violent calls by Hindutva proponents for carrying out genocide of Indian Muslims. The Indian Charge d’ Affaires was summoned to the Foreign Office in Islamabad, today, and asked to convey Pakistan’s serious concerns over the widely reported open calls by Hindutva proponents for carrying out genocide of Indian Muslims.

These violent hate speeches were made during the “Dharma Sansad” held at Haridwar in Uttarakhand from the 17th to the 20 of this month. It was impressed upon the government of India that it was highly reprehensible that Hindu hardliners who called for ethnic cleansing have neither regretted nor the Modi government has taken any action against them so far.

The Foreign Office said, Pakistan calls upon the international community, including the United Nations, OIC and relevant human rights organizations, to hold India accountable for its gross and systematic human rights violations against minorities, particularly Muslims, and take immediate measures to save them from impending genocide.
