Islamabad: Pakistan conducted a successful training launch of the Shaheen-II, a surface-to-surface ballistic missile, aimed at refining troop readiness and evaluating the missile’s technical enhancements for improved accuracy and survivability.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the launch was observed by high-ranking officials, including senior officers from the Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, and scientists and engineers from strategic organizations. The Director General of the Strategic Plans Division praised the expertise, dedication, and commitment of the scientists responsible for this significant accomplishment. Additionally, key national figures such as the President, Prime Minister, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, and Services Chiefs have extended their congratulations to the teams involved on their successful achievement.
