Pakistan Steps Up Support for Nationals Amid Lebanon Crisis

Islamabad: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Pakistani Embassy in Beirut, is intensifying efforts to assist Pakistani nationals affected by the ongoing crisis in Lebanon. This initiative includes the activation of a Crisis Management Unit (CMU) aimed at providing crucial support and facilitating communications for citizens in distress.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the CMU is now operational and ready to assist Pakistanis in Lebanon, as well as their families, who may seek guidance or help during this turbulent period. The Ministry urges affected individuals or their relatives to use the dedicated contact channels, including a landline and an email address, to reach the CMU.

Additionally, the Embassy of Pakistan in Beirut is ensuring round-the-clock support through several communication platforms, including cell and WhatsApp numbers, along with an email contact. This enhanced accessibility underscores the commitment of Pakistani diplomatic missions to safeguard and assist their citizens abroad, especially in regions experiencing instability.
