Islamabad, January 27, 2022 (PPI-OT):Pakistan and Singapore have expressed resolve to further consolidate cooperation in diverse fields in line with their shared objectives of peace and development. The resolve came during the Bilateral Political Consultations, which were held in virtual format today with participation from representatives of the two countries.

The Pakistani delegation was led by Additional Secretary for Asia-Pacific Asim Iftikhar Ahmad while the delegation of Singapore was headed by Deputy Secretary Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore Ng Teck Hean. They noted the importance of regular interaction and dialogue under existing mechanisms and exchange of high-level visits to impart further momentum to the relationship.
