Dubai: AI Everything Global 2025, the largest public-private AI gathering of the year, commenced on February 4 in Abu Dhabi and continues from February 5-6 in Dubai. The event features over 500 exhibitors and 150 investors from 70 countries, providing a platform for industry leaders, governments, and innovators to explore the AI landscape. Pakistan is prominently represented by 11 leading tech companies and two AI-driven startups under the aegis of the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).
According to a statement by Press Information Department, the participation of Pakistani tech entities is facilitated by the Commercial Section of Pakistan’s Consulate in Dubai. Over 30 Pakistani delegates are engaging in discussions on AI-driven economic transformation. The event showcases global tech giants like ASUS, Alibaba Cloud, AWS, Dell, Fortinet, G42, HP, IBM, Intel, Lenovo, Nokia, Oracle, Red Hat, Technology Innovation Institute (TII), and Zoom, highlighting innovations that are transforming governance and businesses.
A significant focus of the exhibition is the impact of open-source AI on global economies, governance, enterprise solutions, and public services. AI is projected to add $100 billion to the UAE’s GDP by 2030, aligning with the UAE National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence 2031 and the Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025-2027. This commitment underscores the UAE’s ambition to become a global AI leader, with AI Everything providing a crucial platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
The Pakistan Pavilion was inaugurated by Ambassador Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, along with Mr. Abu Bakar, CEO of PSEB, and Trade Counselor Ali Zeb Khan. Ambassador Tirmizi and CEO PSEB emphasized the need for Pakistani tech firms to focus on AI talent development. They highlighted the importance of equipping the next generation with AI and coding skills to advance technological growth in Pakistan.
Pakistan’s involvement in AI Everything Global 2025 represents a significant step in expanding its AI and tech presence globally, fostering collaborations, and unlocking opportunities in the burgeoning AI ecosystem.
