Pakistan Sends Second Batch of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan has dispatched a second tranche of humanitarian aid to the besieged population of Gaza, demonstrating its continued support amid the ongoing conflict in the region.

According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the relief consignment was sent off in a ceremony at Islamabad International Airport attended by Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Minister for Human Rights Khalil George, Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan Ahmad Jawad Rabei, along with other officials. The shipment included essential items such as hygiene kits, medicines, and food packages.

During the ceremony, Foreign Minister Jilani condemned the violence in Gaza and advocated for the cessation of hostilities and the lifting of the siege to allow humanitarian relief. The first consignment of aid from Pakistan was sent on October 19, 2023, marking the country’s ongoing commitment to providing assistance to the people of Gaza.
