Yangon: Pakistan has delivered its initial humanitarian aid consignment to Myanmar, providing crucial support to communities affected by a recent earthquake. The aid package, weighing 35 tons, was handed over at Yangon International Airport.
The delivery was facilitated by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Myanmar, Imran Haider, along with embassy officials. The aid was officially received by the Chief Minister of the Yangon Region and the Director General of Training from Myanmar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
This initiative underscores the Pakistani government’s commitment, alongside the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), to assist Myanmar in its recovery efforts following the natural disaster.
