ISLAMABAD, Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has dispatched a second shipment of humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine, following directives from the Prime Minister, amid ongoing conflict in the region.
According to National Disaster Management Authority, the latest tranche of aid, aimed to alleviate the hardships faced by Palestinians due to recent aggressions, particularly in Gaza, includes substantial supplies of food, medicine, and hygiene products. The send-off ceremony held at Islamabad International Airport was attended by high-ranking officials, including Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, Caretaker Federal Minister for Human Rights Mr. Khalil George, and the Palestinian Ambassador to Pakistan, Ahmed Rabei, along with representatives from various NGOs and senior officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The relief items will be transported to Al Arish, Egypt, on a special chartered plane and from there will be delivered to Gaza by the Red Crescent Society in Egypt.
