Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) of Pakistan has dispatched its 15th humanitarian relief consignment to Palestine, following directives from the Prime Minister. This latest shipment is part of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to aid those affected by conflict in the Middle East.
This consignment is notably the 26th overall relief package sent to the war-affected regions, underscoring Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to humanitarian support. With the current shipment, the total aid sent to Palestine by Pakistan has reached 1,518 tons, aiming to alleviate the hardships faced by the people in Gaza.
In a broader context, Pakistan’s humanitarian aid contributions amount to 2,045 tons. This total includes 416 tons of aid sent to Lebanon and 111 tons to Syria, reflecting the country’s regional support efforts.
The Government of Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to stand with the people of Palestine. Officials have stated that the country will continue to provide necessary humanitarian assistance, adapting to the evolving needs of those impacted by the ongoing crisis.
