Pakistan Senate Chairman Condemns Construction of Ram Temple on Babri Mosque Site

Islamabad, Pakistan Senate Chairman, Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, has issued a strong condemnation of the construction of the Hindu ‘Ram Temple’ at the site of the demolished Babri Mosque in Ayodhya, India.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Sanjrani’s statement, released on Tuesday, criticizes the move as an embodiment of an Islamophobic agenda by the Hindutva supremacist government in India. He highlighted the construction of the temple as a blatant disregard for the safety and rights of Indian Muslims and other religious minorities.

Sanjrani’s remarks reflect a broader sentiment of concern regarding India’s treatment of its religious minorities. He asserts that these actions starkly contradict the image of India as the world’s largest democracy and reveal the insubstantiality of its claimed secular ideals.
