Lahore, Pakistan’s IT exports have surged by an impressive thirty-two percent in the last sixty days, announced Caretaker Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunications, Dr. Umar Saif, at a prize distribution ceremony in Lahore today. The event recognized the exceptional contributions of five hundred and fifty IT companies nationwide, rewarding their outstanding performance in boosting the country’s IT exports.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Saif lauded the IT industry for its crucial role in the economic stability of Pakistan, emphasizing that such significant growth in exports merits recognition and support. The awards and cash prizes distributed to the companies are a testament to the government’s commitment to facilitating and rewarding the IT sector’s achievements.
The Minister highlighted the pivotal role of Pakistani IT professionals in earning substantial foreign exchange through digital services, underscoring their contribution to the national economy.
