Riyadh, The Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Mr. Jawad Sohrab Malik, visited Maharah Human Resource headquarters in Riyadh to discuss the potential employment of skilled Pakistani professionals in Saudi Arabia. The visit, aiming to strengthen the economic ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, involved discussions on leveraging Pakistani manpower for Saudi Arabia’s upcoming projects.
According to Press Information Department (PID), Mr. Malik met with the CEO of Maharah Human Resource, Mr. Abdulaziz Alkathiry, and was accompanied by Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Ahmad Farooq, and other officials. The meeting focused on showcasing the availability and quality of skilled Pakistani labor across various sectors, including engineering, IT, healthcare, and hospitality. The management of Maharah Human Resource acknowledged the value of Pakistani workers and their contributions to the Saudi economy, expressing interest in employing more Pakistani professionals for future projects.
Mr. Malik emphasized the historical bonds between the two nations and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 development goals with its skilled workforce. The delegation also visited Maharah Human Resource’s training academy, highlighting the ongoing initiatives by the Pakistani government to promote employment opportunities for its citizens in Saudi Arabia. This visit marks an important step in enhancing the collaborative economic relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
