Pakistan Seeks Closer Ties with UK, Interior Minister Emphasizes Cooperation


Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has underscored Pakistan’s intent to strengthen its bilateral relations with the United Kingdom across key areas of shared interest. This statement came during a meeting with UK Minister for Faith and Communities, Lord Wajid Khan.



The meeting was attended by several officials, including Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry, British High Commissioner Jane Marriott, and Home Secretary Khurram Agha. Discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in critical sectors such as counter-terrorism, security, and the prevention of cross-border crimes.



Both nations aim to build upon their existing relationship and explore opportunities for collaboration that address mutual concerns. The dialogue reflects a commitment to addressing global challenges through collective efforts.
