Islamabad, With just nine days remaining for undocumented foreign nationals to exit Pakistan, the country continues its repatriation process, having already sent back 59,561 Afghan refugees.
According to a news release by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the government has issued a directive for all undocumented foreigners to depart Pakistan by the 1st of the forthcoming month. Should they remain beyond this deadline, the nation’s law enforcement will take necessary legal actions. This repatriation is anticipated to positively influence the regional dynamics.
To ensure the smooth and orderly repatriation of the Afghan nationals, the Commissionerate for Afghan Refugees has set up dedicated arrangements. Alongside these efforts, security officers from the Pak Army, local police, government administration, traffic police, and FC personnel have been actively deployed at the border.
