Pakistan Rejects India’s Statement on Actions Against Terrorist Infrastructure in Afghanistan

Islamabad: Pakistan has dismissed a statement from India’s Ministry of External Affairs regarding its actions against terrorist infrastructure in Afghanistan. This response came in the wake of a media inquiry about the Indian statement made on June 29, 2026. The spokesperson for Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Tahir Andrabi, stated that the accusations from India were unfounded.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Andrabi criticized India for interfering in the sovereignty of its neighboring countries and undermining their territorial integrity, actions he claimed contradicted the United Nations Charter. He further accused India of suppressing the rights of Kashmiris in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, contrary to relevant UN resolutions.

Mr. Andrabi also alleged that India has supported terrorist groups operating from Afghanistan against Pakistan, violating UN Security Council sanctions. He emphasized that Pakistan will continue to take necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of its citizens, in line with international law.
