Pakistan Reiterates Commitment to Strengthen Ties with Afghanistan


Islamabad, Pakistan has reiterated its commitment to sustain ongoing engagement and develop mutually beneficial relations with Afghanistan. This affirmation came during a meeting in Islamabad today between Caretaker Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani and Mullah Shirin, the Governor of Kandahar.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani emphasized the importance of addressing various issues to maximize the potential for trade and connectivity between the two nations. The meeting underscores Pakistan’s dedication to fostering a strong relationship with Afghanistan, focusing on economic and diplomatic collaboration.
