Islamabad: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiri people in a message delivered on the occasion of Kashmir Solidarity Day. Naqvi emphasized that every Pakistani stands with the Kashmiris, asserting the nation’s complete solidarity.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, Naqvi described Kashmir as Pakistan’s jugular vein and reiterated support for the legitimate rights of its Kashmiri brothers on every forum. He criticized India’s occupation, labeling it a barrier to Kashmiri freedom.

Naqvi highlighted Pakistan’s desire for a United Nations-mediated solution to the Kashmir issue. He assured that the Pakistani government and people would continue to offer political, moral, and diplomatic backing to the Kashmiris.

The minister stressed Pakistan’s commitment to being a voice for the Kashmiris and supporting their struggle. He underscored that the Kashmiris have the right to determine their own future.

Naqvi concluded by stating that the Kashmir issue is not just a concern for the Kashmiris but for the entire region. He warned that without resolving the dispute, sustainable peace in the region remains elusive.
