This announcement comes as the nation prepares to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day on Monday, aiming to express unwavering solidarity with the people of Kashmir.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, during a news briefing in Islamabad, emphasized Pakistan’s ongoing support in moral, political, and diplomatic spheres for the Kashmiri cause. Baloch highlighted the significance of Kashmir Solidarity Day, mentioning that elaborate programs are scheduled to commemorate the occasion and demonstrate support for the Kashmiri brethren.
The observance of Kashmir Solidarity Day underscores Pakistan’s dedication to raising international awareness about the Kashmir issue and advocating for the rights and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Islamabad, Ambassador Masood Khan has emphasized the significance of fostering Pak-US trade relations and attracting US investments to Pakistan. During a virtual meeting with the Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce, he outlined his commitment to promoting bilateral trade and detailed the actions of the Special Investment Facilitation Council aimed at facilitating foreign investors.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Ambassador highlighted the Council’s efforts to incentivize investments in various sectors including IT, renewable energy, and agriculture. The meeting also included discussions on the achievements of the Pakistan American Chamber of Commerce in health, food, and textile sectors. Suggestions for a sister-city partnership between Karachi and Los Angeles were discussed, which could enhance trade and technology exchanges. The Ambassador called for increased awareness of the investment opportunities among the Pakistani-American business community.
