Islamabad: Federal Minister for Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan Engineer Amir Muqam has reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast support for the Kashmiris’ fight for freedom. The declaration came during his visit to AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry at Kashmir House in Islamabad, where he conveyed wishes for Chaudhry’s swift recovery and presented a bouquet of flowers.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Muqam condemned the ongoing Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and pledged to elevate the voices of Kashmiris on global platforms to ensure their right to self-determination is recognized internationally. He emphasized Pakistan’s unyielding stance on the Kashmir issue throughout his discussions with President Chaudhry.
AJK President Barrister Sultan Mahmood expressed his gratitude to Muqam for the visit and echoed the condemnation of India’s aggressive policies in Kashmir. He criticized the fraudulent elections conducted by New Delhi in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as a ploy to mislead the international community. Chaudhry also highlighted the urgent need for a lasting solution to the Kashmir dispute, vowing to intensify efforts to reveal the true nature of Indian actions globally.
