Pakistan Reaffirms Support for Kashmiri People, Says PM Shehbaz Sharif


Muzaffarabad, In a definitive expression of solidarity, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed his nation’s unwavering support for the Kashmiri people’s struggle for self-determination, during his recent visit to Muzaffarabad.



According to Kashmir Media Service, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif articulated this commitment while meeting with the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq. He emphasized that Pakistan would persist in its staunch backing of the Kashmiri cause, standing in unity with the residents of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) in their pursuit of self-determination rights.



During this engagement, Prime Minister Sharif assured of Pakistan’s unconditional support for the efforts of the AJK leadership in advocating the Kashmir issue. The meeting underscored the deep-rooted connections and shared aspirations between the people of Pakistan and Kashmir, reflecting a mutual dedication to seeing the Kashmiri struggle for autonomy and justice reach a fruitful resolution.



The visit of PM Shehbaz Sharif to Muzaffarabad, particularly in these critical times, was lauded by AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, who interpreted it as a testament to the enduring bond and shared sentiments between Pakistanis and their Kashmiri counterparts.
