Pakistan Reaffirms Its Steadfast Support for Palestinian Cause

Islamabad, In a recent declaration, Pakistan emphasized its unwavering commitment to backing the Palestinian population in their legitimate pursuit of self-determination. Pakistan underscored that supporting the Palestinian cause aligns directly with its national interests.

According to a news release by Kashmir Media Service, the foundation of Pakistan’s stance on the Palestine issue was laid down by the nation’s founder, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. Jinnah had strongly expressed his views on the creation of Israel, vowing that the Muslims of India would actively support their Arab brethren in Palestine. This issue remained close to Jinnah’s heart until his passing.

Solidarity with the Palestinian cause has been ingrained in the ethos of the Pakistani populace. Since its inception, Pakistan has consistently championed the rights of Palestinians, and this commitment has remained steadfast over the years.

General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of the Pakistan Army, reiterated this sentiment, assuring the Palestinian people of Pakistan’s full diplomatic, moral, and political backing. He further emphasized Pakistan’s unwavering stance against the unlawful occupation of Palestinian territories and the sacred sites of Muslims.

Pakistan remains adamant that a fair and just solution to the Palestinian issue is crucial for achieving enduring peace, not only in the Middle East but globally. The emotional bond between the Pakistani and Palestinian people remains robust, with both populations sharing deep-rooted sympathies for each other.

This unity was evident as thousands of Pakistanis took to the streets in various cities and towns, expressing their discontent with the ongoing hostilities against the Palestinians. The leadership in Pakistan has called on the global community to acknowledge the situation and intervene in Israel’s actions in Palestine. There’s a pressing demand for the international community to step in, safeguard civilians, and pave the way for a lasting peace in the Middle East.
