New York: Pakistan has reiterated its support for Syria’s political transition, reconstruction, and sovereignty. The statement was made by Pakistan’s Acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Usman Jadoon, during a briefing at the UN Security Council.
According to Radio Pakistan, Mr. Jadoon welcomed the renewed diplomatic engagement concerning Syria, highlighting efforts to restore national institutions and early signs of economic recovery. He expressed optimism about Syria’s future, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation in supporting the country’s transition and rebuilding efforts.
