Pakistan Prioritizes Development of Industrial Parks and Special Economic Zones

Islamabad, In a significant push to enhance industrial activity, the Pakistani government is focusing on the establishment of Industrial Parks and Special Economic Zones (SEZs), as stated by the Minister for Industries and Production, Rana Tanveer Hussain. The announcement came during a meeting with a South Korean delegation led by the Ambassador of Korea to Pakistan, Park Ki Jun, which discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation and resolving challenges faced by Korean companies in Pakistan.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Hussain highlighted the long-standing and cordial relations between Pakistan and South Korea, noting ongoing multifaceted cooperation in economic and cultural areas. He assured the delegation of his commitment to promptly resolve all pending matters to facilitate further investments. Ambassador Park expressed the interest of Korean companies in investing in Pakistan and emphasized the need to explore new avenues for strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two nations.
