ISLAMABAD, Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is set to depart for Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on an official visit to partake in the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), aiming to advance Pakistan’s vision for regional collaboration and connectivity.
According to Ministry of Information Broadcasting, the summit, which begins tomorrow, will span two days and will focus on reinforcing commitments to the ECO Vision 2025. The Prime Minister will emphasize Pakistan’s dedication to fostering regional cooperation in trade, transport, connectivity, energy, tourism, and enhancing economic growth and productivity.
During the summit, PM Kakar will outline Pakistan’s strategic direction for the ECO’s future work, specifically highlighting the enhancement of regional connectivity and mutual prosperity among member states.
The visit will also include bilateral dialogues with Uzbek leadership and other heads of state in attendance, aimed at strengthening diplomatic and economic ties. As one of the founding members of the ECO, Pakistan underscores its allegiance to the organization’s objectives of enhancing connectivity and shared economic success within the region.
