Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday welcomed an international investors delegation, headed by U.S. investor Mr. Gentry Beach, to discuss investment opportunities in Pakistan’s growing economic landscape.
According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the delegation’s interest in exploring business possibilities in Pakistan. He emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting foreign investors through a favorable business environment and streamlined processes.
The Prime Minister highlighted Pakistan’s strategic position, skilled workforce, and expanding consumer market as key attractions for global investors. Mr. Gentry Beach acknowledged Pakistan’s economic potential and expressed his delegation’s interest in investing in sectors such as mining, renewable energy, infrastructure, and technology.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with several federal ministers and advisors, reflecting the government’s efforts to attract foreign direct investment to boost economic growth and create jobs in Pakistan.
