Pakistan President Stresses the Importance of Braille Education for an Inclusive Society

Islamabad, On the occasion of World Braille Day, President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized the importance of investing in Braille education to foster an inclusive and equitable society. He highlighted the efforts being made in Pakistan to enhance accessibility for persons with visual impairments.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, President Alvi, in his message, expressed his admiration for Pakistan’s progressive initiatives in making opportunities more accessible for visually impaired individuals. He also paid tribute to Louis Braille, whose invention has significantly transformed the lives of millions of people with visual disabilities by providing them with literacy tools.

President Alvi noted Pakistan’s commendable commitment to advancing Braille literacy and accessibility, marking a significant step toward inclusivity for all citizens, regardless of their visual abilities.
