Pakistan Prepares for Joint Ministerial Commission Meeting with UAE in Abu Dhabi


Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar chaired several key meetings today in Islamabad, focusing on the upcoming 12th Session of the Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) with the United Arab Emirates, scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi next month. These meetings addressed preparations and strategic planning for the high-level bilateral talks.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Inter-Ministerial committee devoted one of its sessions to reviewing the agenda and logistical arrangements for the JMC. This important bilateral forum aims to enhance and expand cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE in various sectors.



Another critical session led by Dar involved the fourth meeting of the committee tasked by the Prime Minister to address significant issues in the Exploration and Production sector, including the resolution of circular debt and the rationalization of Re-Gasified Liquefied Natural Gas prices.



These meetings underscore the Pakistani government’s proactive approach to strengthening international relations and addressing domestic energy challenges ahead of the Joint Ministerial Commission talks in Abu Dhabi.
