Pakistan Pledges Support for Kashmiris, Advocating for UN Resolutions: FO

Islamabad, In her latest press briefing, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch underscored Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to backing the Kashmiri populace until the directives of the United Nations Security Council resolutions are realized. Based on the information, Baloch drew attention to the current situations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, voicing apprehension over recent events such as the shuttering of the Srinagar Jamia Masjid and the extended house confinement of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference senior figure, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.

According to Kashmir Media Service, The spokesperson also communicated national disappointment following the recent United Nations Security Council meeting, urging immediate action to halt the aggressive measures and oppressive blockade in Gaza. Baloch’s remarks alluded to the US’s exercise of its veto power at the UN Security Council, effectively stalling a resolution aimed at Israel’s facilitation of humanitarian corridors into Gaza and cessation of hostilities.
