Pakistan Pledges Full Response to Indian Missile Strikes, Says Defence Minister

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Muhammad Asif announced on Tuesday that the country is prepared to respond decisively to recent missile strikes from India, both militarily and diplomatically. The minister’s remarks come amid heightened tensions between the two nations.

In an interview with a private television channel, Asif stated that India lacks the courage to penetrate Pakistan’s airspace, crediting the vigilance of the Pakistan Air Force for maintaining the country’s aerial sovereignty. Despite this, he confirmed that India had launched missiles from its own territory, targeting civilian areas, including women and children.

Asif invited members of the foreign media to visit the impacted locations to witness firsthand the aftermath of the missile attacks on civilian populations. He emphasized the need for an international investigation into the Pahalgam incident, underscoring Pakistan’s call for global awareness and action.

The Defence Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to delivering what he termed a “full response” to India. He warned that the actions taken by India would not go unanswered, implying that Pakistan’s response would be timely and appropriate, both on military fronts and diplomatic channels.
