New York: The Travel and Adventure Show 2025 commenced in New York with the Pakistan Pavilion earning the Best Partner Pavilion accolade. The two-day event highlights tourism enterprises from around the world.
According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) joined forces with the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) and the Consulate General of Pakistan in New York to establish the pavilion. Thirteen Pakistani companies, along with provincial tourism departments and PTDC, have showcased their offerings at the pavilion.
The Pakistan Pavilion, operating under the national tourism brand “Salam Pakistan,” was officially opened by Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, the Ambassador of Pakistan to the United States, and Gulbar Khan, the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan.
The pavilion displayed a variety of Pakistan’s tourism attractions, emphasizing the country’s destinations, cultural heritage, and tourism services. On the event’s first day, a significant number of visitors explored the pavilion, showing particular interest in areas such as mountaineering, adventure tourism, and religious tourism.
