Pakistan Pavilion Shines at Future Minerals Forum in Riyadh

Riyadh: Minister for Petroleum Dr. Musadik Malik participated in the 4th annual international meeting of mining ministers today in Riyadh, with representatives from 85 countries. He engaged with international mining leaders and industry experts, highlighting Pakistan’s mining sector potential.

According to a statement by Press Information Department, the Future Minerals Forum (FMF) commenced with global mining leaders, service providers, and operators showcasing innovations and building new connections. The Pakistan Pavilion emerged as a focal point, attracting over 500 visitors on its first day, including major global mining operators, industry service providers, and potential investors.

The Pavilion’s design, notably the ‘Mineral Map of Pakistan,’ received acclaim for showcasing the country’s mineral resources. The effort was a collaboration between the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) and 12 prominent Pakistani companies, curated by Pakistan Petroleum Limited.

His Excellency, the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Saudi Arabia, toured the FMF, engaging with delegates and exploring exhibits. The Pakistan delegation is scheduled to host a 90-minute session on Thursday to share insights on mining opportunities and strategic vision.
