Islamabad, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Maritime Affairs, Iftikhar Ahmed Rao, announced that Pakistan is poised to join the Hong Kong Convention soon.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Speaking at a seminar in Karachi, Rao highlighted the government’s efforts to enhance the maritime sector, particularly the ship recycling facility. The seminar titled ‘The Ratification and Implementation of the Hong Kong Convention, Pakistan- 2023’ underscored Pakistan’s commitment to the maritime sector’s development and international maritime conventions.
