Karachi, The Pakistan Navy successfully intercepted a significant drug smuggling operation in the North Arabian Sea, seizing a substantial quantity of narcotics during a regional maritime security patrol. According to Inter Services Public Relations, the narcotics seized by the Pakistan Navy ship PNS Aslat are valued at thousands of dollars on the international market. This successful operation is a testament to the Navy’s effective surveillance and patrolling capabilities. Naval warships of the Pakistan Navy are regularly tasked with Regional Maritime Security Patrol duties, which include preventing not only drug smuggling but also piracy and human trafficking in the area.
