Islamabad: The Pakistan Navy Ship HUNAIN, on its maiden voyage from Romania, made a strategic stop in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to participate in a bilateral naval exercise with the Royal Saudi Naval Forces (RSNF).
According to Pakistan Navy, upon arrival at Jeddah port, the PNS HUNAIN was welcomed by senior RSNF officials and representatives from the Pakistan Embassy. The ship’s commanding officer met with key Saudi naval leaders, including Rear Admiral Mansoor Bin Saood Al Jayyad, Commander of the RSNF Navy Western Fleet, and Rear Admiral Saleh Bin Abdullah Al-Amri, Commander of the King Faisal Naval Base. The discussions focused on mutual interests and enhancing bilateral naval cooperation.
The PNS HUNAIN also conducted a Passage Exercise with the RSNF’s HMS AL RIYADH, engaging in various joint maritime drills aimed at boosting interoperability between the two navies. This visit not only underscores the strong maritime relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia but also contributes to their ongoing defense collaboration.
