Pakistan Navy Day Commemorated with Tributes to Historical Valor and Modern Readiness

Karachi: Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, delivered a poignant message on the occasion of Navy Day, commemorating the historical operations and valor of the Pakistan Navy’s past while affirming the force’s readiness and modernization in the face of global challenges. The Admiral highlighted the significant achievements during the 1965 conflict, notably Operation ‘SOMNATH’, which demonstrated strategic prowess against enemy forces.

According to Pakistan Navy, Admiral Ashraf’s message shed light on the daring feats of the Navy during significant historical operations, such as the surprise attack on the Indian Port of Dwarka. He praised the gallantry of the officers and sailors whose acts of bravery continue to inspire national spirit and pride. The Admiral emphasized the ongoing efforts to enhance the Navy’s capabilities through advanced warships, submarines, and maritime aircraft, ensuring the Navy remains at the forefront of maritime security and readiness.
