Karachi: The Pakistan Navy Coastal Command held its Annual Efficiency Competition Parade for 2024 at PNS QASIM in Karachi. Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, attended the event as the Chief Guest, recognizing the year’s operational achievements of the Coastal Command.
According to Pakistan Navy, the Coastal Command has successfully fulfilled its mission to protect Pakistan’s coastal regions from Sir Creek to Jiwani despite facing challenging security conditions. Admiral Ashraf highlighted the command’s accomplishments in his address, noting its role in safeguarding crucial maritime boundaries.
Commander Coast provided an overview of the year’s operational activities and achievements, emphasizing the Command’s success in various operational, administrative, and welfare projects. The highlight of the event was the presentation of efficiency awards and trophies to the Coastal Command’s best-performing units.
The ceremony was attended by numerous senior serving and retired naval officers, civil dignitaries, and members of the Pakistan Navy, reflecting the importance of the Coastal Command’s contributions to national security.
