Pakistan Navy Assumes Command of CTF-150 for the 13th Time

Islamabad: In a significant military engagement, the Pakistan Navy has once again taken command of the Combined Task Force 150 (CTF-150), marking the 13th time it has led this multinational naval task force. The official change of command ceremony was conducted with great fanfare at the US NAVCENT Headquarters in Bahrain.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Commodore Asim Sohail Malik of the Pakistan Navy officially assumed command from Captain Mathews of the Royal Canadian Navy during a distinguished ceremony. Commodore Malik emphasized the readiness and determination of his team to lead the task force, acknowledging the crucial role of CTF-150 in maintaining maritime security and stability within the region.

In his address, Commodore Malik reaffirmed the Pakistan Navy’s dedication to cooperating with coalition navies to safeguard peace and stability across their Area of Responsibility. This leadership role underscores Pakistan’s ongoing commitment to international maritime security collaborations and its capability to manage significant naval operations.
