Pakistan Mourns the Loss of Namibian President Hage G. Geingob


Islamabad, The Government of Pakistan and its people have expressed their deep sorrow over the demise of Namibian President Hage G. Geingob, acknowledging his significant contributions as a leader and a pivotal figure in Namibia’s liberation struggle.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch delivered a heartfelt condolence message, describing President Geingob as a visionary statesman, the leading icon of Namibia’s fight for independence, and the chief architect of the nation’s Constitution. She highlighted his lasting legacy as a leader dedicated to the welfare of the Namibian nation and his notable role in the Global South.



The spokesperson extended profound sympathies to President Geingob’s family and the people of Namibia, reflecting the sense of loss felt by Pakistan over the passing of such a distinguished leader. President Geingob’s contributions to Namibia and his efforts towards promoting unity and progress within the Global South will be remembered and cherished.
