Islamabad, The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony is now accepting applications from Pakistani nationals eager to partake in the annual Urs of Hazrat Mujadadi Al-Thani, scheduled from August 29 to September 4 in Sirhind Sharif, India. This announcement aims to organize the pilgrimage, allowing up to 200 Pakistani devotees the opportunity to commemorate the esteemed Islamic scholar’s legacy. Applications are open until February 29, with a selection lottery to follow on March 28 for those exceeding the initial cap.

According to Kashmir Media Service, this initiative by the Ministry is to ensure a well-coordinated participation of Pakistani pilgrims in the Urs celebrations, reflecting the spiritual significance and respect for Hazrat Mujadadi Al-Thani’s teachings. The Ministry has made it clear that only the current application forms, accessible through its website and Facebook page, will be considered for the pilgrimage.
