Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi announced that the government’s position on the Palestinian issue, particularly concerning the actions against the Palestinians in Gaza, has been unwavering and transparent. The Minister used Twitter to convey this message, emphasizing Pakistan’s proactive role in the international forum convened in Jeddah on this matter.

Mr. Solangi revealed that, despite the demands of his role in Beijing, Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani will stand for Pakistan at the Jeddah conference. Additionally, the Information Minister pointed out that Prime Minister Anwaar ul Haq Kakar has already raised the Palestinian issue during his meetings with global leaders in Beijing, which includes a dialogue with the UN Secretary-General. The minister further acknowledged the commendable efforts of Pakistan’s permanent representative at the UN, who has been vociferous and proactive on the matter.
