Pakistan Leaders Vow Continued Fight Against Terrorism After Border Operation

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have praised security forces for a successful operation against terrorists in the Sambaza area of Zhob district along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, eliminating fifty Indian-backed militants in recent days.

In separate pronouncements, they commended the forces’ professionalism and dedication. President Zardari affirmed the nation’s support for its armed forces and vowed to continue the fight against terrorism until its complete elimination. He declared that those who oppose peace and progress in Pakistan will not prevail.

Prime Minister Sharif lauded the expertise of the security forces, who recently neutralized three more terrorists following a previous operation in the same region that eliminated forty-seven militants. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to fighting terrorism until it is completely eradicated.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Pakistan’s military is constantly engaged in purging the nation of terrorists, a mission for which the entire nation, including himself, expresses gratitude. He assured the armed forces of the nation’s unwavering support in their resolve to eliminate terrorism.
