Pakistan, Latvia Commit to Expand Bilateral Cooperation Across Multiple Sectors


Islamabad, In a move to enhance their bilateral relations, Pakistan and Latvia have decided to broaden their cooperation across various sectors including trade and investment, energy, education, technology, and labor mobility. This decision was reached during the sixth round of Pakistan-Latvia Bilateral Political Consultations held in Islamabad.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions underscored the positive development of relations between the two nations and explored regional and global issues, emphasizing the need for joint efforts to tackle shared challenges.



Deputy State Secretary-Political Director from the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andžejs Vilumsons, and the Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Muhammad Syrus Sajjad Qazi, also held a meeting to further discuss the strengthening of Pakistan-Latvia ties and pertinent developments on both regional and global scales.
